It can be very frustating when you put in the time, energy and most of all, money, in to a small business only to see it stalled or worse yet, you are losing money every month.
There can be a few reasons why this is happening.
First and foremost look at you and your online persona. Are you kind, do you gossip or complain a lot, are you helpful, do you stir the pot on social media? Are you helping your community or your audience in a positive way? These are some real things to look inward and decide how you want your audience to view you. You decide which is good for business.
Next is your product or service. No matter how nice or kind you are, if your product or service is sub-par people won't come back to you.
Are you taking full advantage of free social media marketing strategies? My son-in-law is a mortgage broker. He decided it was time to start an Instagram account. I told him welcome to 2023. If you are not moving with the times, you will be left behind. Your audience loves you and wants to see you. Remind them how great you are and how much you can help them.
Do you have an email list? If you already have an email list are you using it? If not, why?? Remember, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook are places we sort of rent. If the sites go down we lose every one of our followers. However, if you have an email list of people that love and trust you enough to opt in, they are yours and yours alone. You have exclusive access to them and can talk to them one on one.
Do you know how to grow an email list with a thing such as a landing page? Do you have a sign up on your website?
Do you blog? If not you should. It's totally free and it's always there for someone to find you. Use key words so when people search for a product or service like yours your blog pops up.
Are you too afraid to do a live teaching class or even just show and tell? This is a very powerful way for people to connect to you. Yes, not everyone will like you, but those are not the poople that are your audience. The people that love and trust you will stick by your side.
There are many more things to marketing strategies and most of them are free for the taking! Why not do it?
