The fiber in each and every Spinning Box is hand dyed and hand prepped by experienced fiber folk. I would love for you to meet each artist and get to know a little bit more about them. I will showcase two to three artists each month.
ALEXANDRA BALDWIN - First up is Alexandra Baldwin. Alexandra runs a fiber business and travels all across the country to fiber festivals meeting her fiber fanatical customers and offering her expertly dyed combed tops.
Alexandra has been with the Spinning Box since January 2015 and has never disappointed. Her skill for dying combed top and keeping it soft and fluffy is her secret weapon.

ALICE HOLLOWED - Alice has been with the Spinning Box since March 2015. Her sense of color and prepping skills is top notch. Alice can card, make lovely rolags and dye combed top with the best of them. I am always surprised by her talent and I know her customers have been delighted as well.
This was a yarn I spun from a red and glittery gold batt from the May 2019 Spinning Box. I spun it worsted with a little texture and love the pops of gold against the red background. Alice has an Etsy shop with all sorts of goodies. Click here to visit.
