  1. Hello, I just discovered your website last night when I google how to make silk paper..I watched your utube tutorial too. I had not heard about Soffsilk before.. It looks like the most fantastic fiber... And all your colors are the yummiest.. Question about making silk paper. I would like to use the Soffsilk to make paper to include in a needle felted journal.. Can this silk paper be used to write on.. It seem to stiff but I reckon if you water down the stiffener it seem it would be more useable for writing on.. I would love to hear your opinion on this... I also have a question about the produced used to help new spinner., I am very new at spinning and of course struggling... Not sure if this project would help me or not. We are heading to Florida in February to the St. Petersburg area... Do you have a store to visit??? Thanks for all your help. Judy

    1. Hello and thanks for watching my videos! I would imagine you could write on it with a thicker tipped sharpie...you can write on almost anything with a sharpie LOL!! I would suggest make a small amount and try it out with other writing things, like a pen or marker to see if it works. I have never tried that before. I have, however, used the paper to make hand made book covers and they turn out wonderful! I sadly do not have a store :( Maybe one day. And enjoy your visit to sunny Florida! It's the perfect time of year to be here.

  2. Hello me again.. Smile.. I see that "produced" was meant to be spinning product... On the message I left above... Oh, one more thing. I am also thinking of buying a drum carder... I absolutely LOVED your utube video on carding "Tweed Art Batts". Oh my goodness it was gorgeous... I loved it... I had never see a art batt made before...even though I have bought many...... Thanks for that video. Judy
